| 内容記述 | 本稿は、ポケモンGOの社会学的諸研究の一つであり、コロナ禍でポケモンGOというゲームアプリがどのように変化したのかを分析している。COVID-19の全世界的流行を受けて、ポケモンGOはこれまでの「外に出て歩く」というゲームスタイルを捨て、①オンライン化とリモート化を行い、②さまざまなゲーム機能を取り込むことでゲーム・コンテンツの充実に努めた。この試みのおかげで、ポケモンGOはその人気を保つことができた。最後に、この分析から得られた知見から、「時間」と「空間」、「密度」の社会学理論の構築を試みている。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This paper is one of the sociological studies about Pokémon GO. We are analyzing how the game app “Pokémon GO” has changed due to the COVID-19 calamity. In response to the worldwide epidemic of COVID-19, Pokémon GO has abandoned the traditional game style of “going out and walking”. As measures against COVID-19 pandemic, ⑴ online and remote control methods were created. Then, ⑵ they tried to enhance the game content by incorporating various game functions. Owing to these attempts, Pokémon GO was able to maintain its popularity. Finally, based on the findings from this analysis, we are trying to construct a sociological theory of “time,” “space,” and “density.” | |||||
